Great to hear it. I haven't got boosters yet since it has not been half a year since my second shot. I should get a booster since there are lots of news stated that two shots of Sinovac vaccines do not protect us well from the new variants of the virus.

No, you don't get the choice here. At least, not up to now. There's a new one on the market, a traditional vector-vaccine, and I think you can choose that once it's ready. That could be a reason for people who don't trust mRNA-vaccines to get vaccinated anyway.

I'm not an expert either, but for what I know there are 2 types of vaccines. The traditional one works by using dead parts of the actual virus, that the body can use as "training material". The mRNA version works by directly providing your cells the instructions to produce the antibodies.

It's mostly Pfizer and Moderna here. I think they stopped with AstraZeneca when there were a few cases of blood clotting.
