Tried to get a #
sunset on camera, which is always tricky. Haven't done that for a long time, and I didn't find the right spot to see the sun sink into the sea. When I shot my last sunset in #
Vlissingen, it was from almost the same spot as this one. Only, probably in the winter...
After a few minutes I realized I wasn't going to see the sun sink into the #
sea from here, but disappear behind the #
dunes. So I packed everything up again and cycled to the #
WindOrgan (that small cluster of pipes in the center). But alas, still the dunes...
I'll have to find a better spot tomorrow where I can look a bit further north, without seeing the dunes.
If you look very closely, you can see lots of #
windmills on the horizon. Those are part of
Windpark Borssele, "Kavel II". The name is somewhat weird, as the village of #
Borssele is some 50km away. But that's where the cable ends, at the only nuclear powerplant we have in this country.
