No better way, although we have a closed door policy for our bedroom, as especially the little ones tend to start adventuring and do the zoomies the moment we fall asleep for longer than 10 minutes. This was unanimous decided after a few times waking up because one or the other tries to see how that nose is connected with the skull, another one tries to steal my earplugs out of my ear, and nr 3 decides to see if he can reach China from below the blankets ;-D

@Wilco Roos Hehehe, I know what can happen, this was the first experiment.

Mom doesn't do weird stuff at night (or at least not so weird that it wakes me up), and the little ones behaved like a charm too. I kept the door closed for a few days, because I didn't want them in here unattended, but it looks as if they behave just like their mother.

And waking up with five purring cats curled up against you, is kind of heaven 😍

And yes, I know some people think it's bad, unhygienic and whatnot. Don't care, it's good for my mental health 😎

Tuxedo cat lying on a wooden countertop presumably in the kitchen with one pass, stuck by the claw into a curtain but otherwise looking fast to sleep so he’s got a leg and a paw in the air, but he still sleeping just like coming in. @hans Ah, poor beleaguered Mama Cat! I love how Teflon she was to the kittens. There was definitely a King of the Streets there! Such a heartwarming and fun video thanks so much for posting it. I just have one cat at the moment and he’s not tremendously interesting except when he’s playing with his tail flop back-and-forth and additionally plays, you know a sort of tip tap with it? The two thumps of the tail I’m Pissed signal might be funny on camera; but your kitties rock! 💜

@SherBeareth Those kittens rock, indeed. It'll be difficult to part with three of them in about a month.

I'd love to keep them all, but having five cats is a bit too much...
