And especially #journalists. You can't honestly claim to be #independent if you have to be careful with what you say.

It's clear that journalists, like every other birdsite user, can no longer post content that Eloon doesn't like. Soon there will only be room for "journalists" from Looneytown, like Alex Jones or those Fox abominations.

The way to go is for every self respecting news outlet is to get their own instance. If I see a post from @jack@cnn.com, I know that's someone from CNN. On the birdsite you can be validated as @jack_cnn for a mere $8.

Yeah so it is pointless to be on Twitter, unless you are just posting pictures of cats or something equally innocuous and even then your presence there is an endorsement of Musk and his policies.
