I'd have to agree with you there, but Republicans were so afraid of Hilary in the Oval Office that they chose the buffoon instead.

The only thing that baffles me is that they make hard efforts to lock up Assange for life as soon as they can, for publishing facts ( yes, they were top secret) - while Trump still walks around wreaking social havoc while under prosecution of having tried to overthrow the president, VP, and the congress. No, he is not yet convicted, but what he did in plain sight of the public and the media should suffice for imprisonment on remand for high treason. Instead they actually let him do speeches for the NRA, and the GOP considers him seriously as a candidate for the prime office to defend the constitution And give him access to The Bomb, while watching the Putin-Show (where the result can clearly extrapolated...).
