I think it's usually pretty easy to spot refugees at sea, it's usually a small vessel with way, way too many people on board

Seeing how many of those boats sink and how many lives are lost, I think it's outright nefarious to punish people who try to save those souls, effectively forcing sailors to just let those people die.

And yes, I understand that countries like Italy and Greece get more refugees then they can handle, and that they try to redirect as many as they can to other countries, but the message "let them die or we'll lock you up" is outrageous.

Europe should work together so that all member states take an equal share of those refugees. Unfortunately most countries don't want to, and will happily tell Italy and Greece what they should do without actually helping them out.

Makes me furious, it really does.
