@bitwarden Okay, big fan of your product... But why in the world would I wanna share my passwords with anyone? They are my passwords for a reason. Maybe for a business setting or something but then again, they would need more than 2 shares.

@DerpDerpington There can passwords you share. Things like the WiFi password or the code of the alarm system.

In work situations there can easily be tens or even hundreds of passwords you share with colleagues.

@bitwarden If I need to share a password with someone I trust (e.g., for emergency access), I can do it using email. The trick: use GPG to encrypt the password and list multiple recipients when you encrypt it.

For backup files, I have a program, evdisk, that creates a large file in a directory that is mounted via the loopback device and that contains a LUKS-encrypted ext4 file system. The GPG-encrypted password is in the same directory.
