Oh yes, saying goodbye to three of them will be difficult, absolutely. But I can't have 5 cats in my house, that's too many.

And I know the three that have to go, are going to nice, cat-loving families, so that makes it easier.

Yup, I'm keeping one, so I'll have two cats again. I think I'll keep one of the completely black ones: easier to distinguish between black-and-white mother and black son/daughter.

Ideally I should keep a female, as I want to call her Lúthien, daughter of Queen Melian.

Then again, I used to have a Tom (Tom Puss), that was female while her namesake was male.
