Do you also need to condition the humidity in your garage? I know my car is seriously old and therefore far more susceptible for rust.
I don't know this model, but given the "EOL" on the registration, I suspect it's an oldie 😇

my dad had a DS Safari and loved it. Before I was around so I have no memory of that.
I had a BX for a while. Its hobby was blowing hydraulic pipes in hilly Swiss towns.
Enjoy your CX and replace rusty pipes early!

Ooit hoop ik ook een DS te hebben, ik heb er zelfs nog nooit in gereden 😥
Een CX 25 GTi Turbo 2, "la bombe", is best te vinden hoor.
Als klein jochie wilde ik een CX, maar kwam er pas jaren later achter, toen ik op zoek was naar een Dodge Charger (yup, groot fan van de Dukes of Hazzard 😉) dat een CX gewoon tot de mogelijkheden behoorde.
Inmiddels heb ik deze CX al 24 jaar 😎

Oh wow, that's not just any DS 😍
The BX was a nice car too, I got my first driving experience in my dad's.
The hydraulic system isn't something I've ever had a real problem with. If you do your regular maintenance, it should be running fine forever.
All I've experienced is rubber return lines that started to come apart after 15 years, and a leaking high pressure line that was caused by a design flaw, both on my Xantia.
The latter was fixed for free, even though the car was 16 years old at the time 😎

Kinderen, huis, motor slokken het geld wel zo'n beetje op. Ik denk dat ik het gewoon bij droomauto houd :-)
En die CX lijkt me zelfs makkelijker te vinden dan zo'n oude Charger. En... je kunt nog steeds met een stetson op er in gaan zitten en kew-kew-kew-kew lachen en doen alsof je achter die Charger aanzit ;-)

Mjah, zo'n CX kost stiekem ook nog best wat geld.
Ze heeft hier jaren stilgestaan in de garage, het helemaal laten opknappen kostte me net geen €12000, ruimschoots meer dan de begrote €5000 🙄
