With liberty comes responsibility, your personal liberty is constrained by those of the people around you. What the really die-hard libertarians seem to want is a dog-eat-dog world, which is the exact opposite of what I would want in the society I live in. I would probably not do well in such an environment, because it's not in my character to push others away to get what I want.

I want the freedom to live in peace and relative wealth, and you can only have that with a decent set of laws and the enforcement of them.

@Hans van Zijst America has somehow gotten myopically focused on rights, while ignoring responsibilities almost completely.
