I'm not too concerned, it's probably not going to be my daily driver, I have my Fairphone for that.
I mostly invested because I really want to see more phones that run on open software and a strong focus on privacy. I see it as my small contribution to better mobile phones.

afaik it uses gnome 4x.yz. That means flatpacks at least. Have fun ;-)

Yeah, probably going to use PureOS, it's designed specifically for that phone and I trust that it will do no harm. Let's first get an idea of what the phone is and how it ticks.

You can always install something else on it.
I would probably install Debian on it, but that's what PureOS basically is. Only specifically tuned for that device.

I wasn't impressed by the Pinephone. Got one about 1,5 years ago, tried it, but gave up after numerous problems updating the system.
I'll try to post my Librem5-findings here.
