Don't you think we should only get an article when there has NOT been a mass shooting in America? No mass shooting is the real news, that's what's special. Mass shootings aren't, they're just part of a normal day in America.

And if you look at the global homocide data US is doing fairly well all things considered (looking at the Rate per 100k).

The sad reality is that there are probably people dying en mass in countries you've never hear off, and have virtually no impact on our lives..

That page doesn't work on my browser, but what I do see, is that it's about "intentional homicide".

Interesting. For 2020:
Brazil 33,994
Mexico 25,635
United States of America 13,620
Colombia 9,379
Honduras 2.729
Rest of the world all together: 9.661
(with a few south american countries counting around 1,000 death toll, so when you take these out).
So the US has more people killed by guns than the rest of the world minus Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Honduras. And it has only to overtake Brazil and Mexico to win the gold medal of the Dodo* Award.
*: The Dodo is the bird that was extinguished by researchers trying to observe why the flock was so dumb/oblivious to always settle to the same tree - only seconds after one of them was being shot. The experiment eventually ran out of Dodos - which turned out to be the last flock alive...
I wonder what the ratio is of lives saved to lives taken is that justifies the generally allowed private ownership of guns...
