@420 @hans You seem to believe that all that a war needs is soldiers, even untrained ones. Training soldiers costs years. And soldiers need weapons. And planes.

But I'm starting to get the feeling your goal here is to make us out for cowards?

However, by focusing solely on combat-related instruction and minimizing free time, it is possible to condense the training period to just three weeks without compromising the minimum level of survivability.

Russia deploys soldiers as toy soldiers with basic training… the horror for what? Sometimes it seems as the world is more divided then we think. We in the west are disconnected in the reality of the most part of the world. Well we humans ever be in a state of global social equality?

"condense the training period to just three weeks without compromising the minimum level of survivability." => I find it very hard to believe becoming a pro soldier can be learnt in such a short amount of time!
