It's now kicking up here, too. There was an article on the NDR yesterday that they're expecting the worst February storm since the beginning of records. We're pretty exposed here, and my desk is right next to the most exposed window of the house 😨

My car already caught a roof tile, now I'm afraid some of my tiles may come off too. I'm only 100 meters from the sea, and on one hand I can appreciate a good storm, but on the other hand I'd like to keep my house and car in one piece...

Oh boy. We're inland, and it's already scary. I hope you're not also gonna be seeing a major flood. There's a flood warning as well as a storm warning for the German coast.

It's getting bad here, but it doesn't look like it's reached the worst yet:

It seems like my roof is still intact (can't see the top part though). Others weren't so lucky. This is a few buildings away: no more solar panels on the roof...

The wind seems to be calming down a bit, finally. As far as I can see, the only damage I have is a small but deep dent in my car, where it got hit by a roof tile.

A caravan, you say? You mean a lightweight house on wheels, one that doesn't weigh much but does have quite a big surface..? I hope it's alright, but this is what happened to some containers in the port or Rotterdam earlier today:
