Hmm, I just notice that Johnny Tillotson has passed away, on April 1st this year, aged 86.
A while ago I played a Greatest Hits CD of him in my car, and my mom said "hey, my elder sister used to listen to that when I was a kid!"
I didn't get that music from her, I discovered it all by myseld. Sure, in middle school my friends would laugh at me for listening to this old, cheesy stuff, but thankfully I've never paid much attention to what other people think of my taste in music.
