I used to skate to work on the canal once in a while. But now I have all the time in the world. We skated the entire length of the Rideau Canal Skateway in #Ottawa this morning, totalling just over 13 km. The surface is very good, with just here and there a bit of a lump. The standard Beavertail is CAD 7.75 #ottskate #Canada.

This is the first time in the past three years that the canal is actually open and the surface good enough for skating.
