I hope the moderators of mastodon.social are hard at work to get their phishing-problem under control.

I don't really understand: it's the exact same message every time, shouldn't be that difficult to filter that out 🤷

Not going to waste time quibbling about anything I've said, but empirically already today I've reported three sets of probably 20 to 30 posts each, the oldest set being (now) about three hours old, the newest set not even an hour old

I saw the first posts about this issue, and the actual spam itself, three days ago

Virtually all of it has originated from @Mastodon dot Social

Either they're all on vacation for August or no one is working on the issue

Not sure why it takes so long. If this was my server, I would probably have fixed in immediately.
